Preparation before printing
Placement of Originals
Press the [START]key and check the proof copy
Enter the number of copies to be
printed using the numeric keys
Open the paper feed tray,
place the paper, align the right
and left paper guides to fit, and
turn the lock levers to lock the guides.
Adjust the paper feed pressure.
Open the paper receiving tray,
slide the paper guides on the
paper receiving tray to fit the
paper size.
Glass platen
Center mark
or
Align the original with
the center facing downward
and close the platen cover.
Check that the “Ready to Make Master” is
displayed on the screen.
Place the document face up,
align the document setting fence
to the width of the document,
and insert the front end of
the document all the way in.
Comfirm the test printing and adjust the printing position, density, etc.
Press the [START]key.
After master making,
one test print comes out.
Set the master making
conditions as necessary.
Press the [START]key to print.
Enter the number of copies to be
printed using the numeric keys.

[DENSITY] keys
(NORMAL) Newsprint paper, fine paper.
(CARD) Smooth cardstock, thick paper.
This fence stops with a
click sound at each
position corresponding to
the standard paper sizes.
When printing is complete,
open the paper guides and
remove the paper.
