User Unomit

: This user has access to all the user's privileges 

apart from omitting zones. 

 

Guard

: This user can only unset the system. After entering the 

Guard code, the system will be unset for the predefined time 
period (See: Guard Delay, page 63). 

 

Duress

: When coerced into disarming the system, the user can 

comply with the intruder's wishes while sending a silent duress 
alarm to the central station. To do so, a special duress code must 
be used, which when used, will unset the system in the regular 
manner, while simultaneously transmitting the duress alarm. In 
any other situation the Duress authority level behaves the same 
as the user authority level.

 

 

PO Control

: Typically used to enable the operation of a device 

controlled by a programmable output (meaning a door and so 
on). These codes are used only to operate a programmable 
output. 



 Grand Master 

Default: 1234. 

The Grand Master Code is used by the system's owner and is the highest Authority Level.  
The owner can set/change the Grand Master Code.  

Note: 

The grand master code can also be changed in the user menu (by the grand master). 
The Grand Master code is designated as Code 00. 
The grand master, the engineer and the sub-engineer can enter and change other level codes, 
but they cannot see the code. The message [****] is displayed instead of the code  



 Engineer 

Default: 1111 
The Engineer

 

Code provides access to the Engineer Programming menu, allowing 

modification of all system parameters. The Engineer Code is used by the 

LightSYS

 

installation company technician to program the system. 
The Engineer can change the Engineer Code.
