1-

Clear sharp rocks and sticks from the ground. Lay out

the tent over a flat area.

2-

Connect the (4) sections of the steel pole together using

the (3) junctions (Fig 1 and Fig 2) as follows:

•

Place the long steel pole section over the main tent

and place the shorter steel pole section over the

screen room. Connect these two pole sections with the

junction that is marked with the letter “M”.

•

Place the (2) steel pole sections with black end caps

into the pockets at the end of each awning. Connect

these pole sections to the main pole sections with the

junctions that are marked with the letter “A” (Fig 3).

3-

Thread  the  (6)  fiberglass  poles  through  the  pole

sleeves and connect them to the (3) junctions (Fig 4). The

fiberglass poles will lay across the tent (Fig 5).

8-

Buckle the (2) short straps on the leading edge of the

upper sleeve around the vehicle’s roof rack rear cross bar

(Fig 12) (it may be necessary to adjust the position of the

cross bar). If without a cross bar, clip the (2) long straps

provided into the female buckles of the short straps and

attach their J-hooks to the windshield wipers (Fig 13).

10-

Make sure the lower

sleeve is sitting above the

vehicle’s muffler.  Place the

buckle strap of the lower

sleeve over the top of the

vehicle’s rear hatch door

(Fig 14).

Back the vehicle until its bumper touches the tent (Fig

10) and place the upper sleeve over the rear hatch door

(Fig 11).

Set Up The Tent

4-

Attach the top tent clips to the steel pole (Fig 6).

5-

Raise the tent by having one person lift the top steel

pole (Fig 7) and a second person bending the black fi

-

berglass poles until their ends go over their corresponding

pole pins (Fig 8). Start with the two fiberglass poles at one

end of the tent, move to the two middle poles, and finish

with the two poles at the opposite end.

6-

Attach the side tent clips to the black fiberglass poles

(Fig 9).

The tent has a lower sleeve and an upper sleeve which

create an alligator clamping action around the rear of

the vehicle.

9-

Adjust the baffle inside the top edge of the upper sleeve

to keep water, wind, and bugs out.

WARNING:

Don’t use excessive force when bending the tent

poles. If there is any resistance, check to see that the

pole sleeves are sliding over the poles without hang-

ups.
