Maintenance position
9.3.1
Access to the fan
Proceed as follows:
Remove the cover 4) (Fig. 23) and undo the fixing nuts to
the flange and remove the burner.
Hook the burner onto flange 1) (Fig. 24).
NOTE:
Take careful note of the original position before beginning
any of these operations.
Loosen the three screws 2) Fig. 23) and remove the air reg-
ulation unit 1).
The fan can now be cleaned, vacuuming out any dirt, taking care
the dirt does not enter the air circuit.
Reassemble, following these instructions in reverse ord er,
replacing the air regulation unit 1) in its original position.
Tighten the three screws 2), with a torque no higher than
0.8 Nm.
9.3.2
Nozzle replacement
Do the following to access the nozzle:
remove the flange-fixing nut and pull out the burner;
hook the burner to the flange 1) (Fig. 24) and loosen the
screws 3);
take out the blast tube 2) and the sleeve 11) from the collar 4);
loosen the screw 8) and take out the head assembly 7) from
the nozzle holder 9) trying to slide off the wires 5) from the
electrodes;
replace the nozzle 6).
Refit the combustion head 7) and fix it with the screw 8) in
the nozzle holder discharge 9) after making sure that the
glass 10) on the combustion head 7) is orie nted in such a
way that its axis corresponds with the reference mark on the
collar 4) (Fig. 25).
CAUTION
Perform maintenance work only when strictly nec-
essary, taking great care not to damage or unbal-
ance the fan during cleaning.
WARNING
HOLD THE NOZZLE HOLDER WITH A
SPANNER (Fig. 24).
