Designated Use
This chapter describes the intended use and contains warnings against misuse, for your safety.
10.1
Generally, the following are intended uses for the product
•
For thermally insulated transporting and dispensing of heated or chilled food.
•
For systems catering, general catering, hotels, also for community and school catering.
•
For use only by appropriately trained and suitable operating personnel.
•
Transporting food in GN containers or thermoplates with appropriate press-in lids. These
are stored in the
thermoport
®
.
•
Stack a maximum of 2 loaded
thermoports
®
on top of each other. When stacking, make
sure that the ‘shaped base plate’ is correctly positioned.
•
The intended use includes compliance with the technical data. Note the information on the
type plate as well as the product identification.
•
Intended for sale within the EU.
•
The person responsible for the work, e.g. the chef, defines how the
thermoport
®
is actually
used and is responsible for such use.

Prevent foreseeable misuse

may not be cleaned in the dishwasher.

will be destroyed.

may not be used as a surface to deposit objects. Do not place any GN
containers on the

may not be used as a stepladder.

may not be placed on a hot cooker or on angled surfaces.

may not be placed inside the oven or heated up.
•
Heatable

may not be used to cook or heat food.
•
Keep any combustible or explosive fluids away from heated appliances. Otherwise a fire or
explosion may occur.
•
Do not pull or push the appliance over sharp edges, danger of material damage.
