A pH sensor must not be allowed to dry out. The pH sensor is kept moist
during transport and storage with a protective cap containing water. Remove
this cap before use and place the sensor back into it if the FertiMiX Pro C is not
in use for an extended period.

Connecting the I/O modules
Depending on the elements added to the configuration, you will need to install one or
more I/O modules in the cabinet. (Also see the section "I/O modules" on page 19.)
A module can have one of three different statuses:
Offline mode: the module has not yet been assigned a unique address and is
disconnected from the network.
Activation mode (plug-and-play mode): the module is ready to be assigned an
address. This address is generated automatically.
Online mode: the module has been assigned a unique address and is connected
to the network.
The modules must be assigned a module address (or an ID).
When assigning a module address, only one module may be set to activation
mode at the same time. This is to prevent network conflicts.
Every I/O module must be registered. This includes the modules that have been
delivered with your order.
Consult the "CX Assistant Tutorial" guide and/or the enclosed "CompactiMa Modules
Insert" for more information about connecting and registering the I/O modules.
