1.3.20 Configure for country/region and model (Function code 74)

<Function>

This function is used to customize the machine according to language and function settings.

<Operating Procedure>

(1) Press the [7], and then the [4] in the initial state of maintenance mode. For models 

without keypad, press the [

▲

] or [

▼

] to display “MAINTENANCE 74” on the LCD and 

press the [OK]. The spec code currently set is displayed on the LCD.

(2) Enter the spec code (four digits) you want to set.

For models without keypad, the first digit starts flashing. Press the [

▲

] to enter “1”, or 

[

▼

] to enter “0” to select the number for the first digit and press the [OK]. The second 

digit starts flashing. Select the number by repeating the procedure above. The second 
digit is completed and the fourth digit starts flashing. Press the [

▲

] or [

▼

] to display 

numbers for the third and fourth digit on the LCD, then press the [OK].

(3) Press the [Start] or [Mono Start] to save the new setting, and “PARAMETER INIT” is 

displayed on the LCD. The machine then returns to the initial state of maintenance 
mode.

Setting by spec code list

Note: 

If there is no entry for one minute or longer, the machine returns to the initial state of 
maintenance mode automatically, regardless of the display status.
