4. Copier/Document Server Features

This chapter describes user tools in the Copier / Document Server Features menu. For details on how to
access Copier / Document Server Features, see "Accessing User Tools".

General Features

This section describes the user tools in the General Features menu under Copier / Document Server
Features.
Default settings are shown in bold type.

Auto Image Density Priority

You can set whether Auto Image Density is "On" or "Off" when the machine is turned on, reset, or
modes are cleared.
The default setting for "Full Color / Two-color: Photo" is Off.
The default setting for "Full Color / Two-color: Non-photo" is Off.
The default setting for "B & W / Single Color: Photo" is Off.
The default setting for "B & W / Single Color: Non-photo" is On.

Original Type Priority

You can select the original type effective when the power is turned on, or modes cleared.
The default setting for "Full Color / Two-color" is Text / Photo.
The default setting for "B & W / Single Color" is Text / Photo.

Original Photo Type Priority

When you select "Text / Photo" or "Photo" in "Original Type Priority", you can change the settings of
the selected original type.
The default setting for "Text / Photo" is Printed Photo.
The default setting for "Photo" is Printed Photo.

Original Orientation in Duplex Mode

Set the original orientation when making two-sided copies.
The default setting is Top to Top.

Copy Orientation in Duplex Mode

Set the copy orientation when making two-sided copies.
The default setting is Top to Top.

Reserve Job Mode

You can set whether to reset the mode to the initial state or return to the mode in use before the reserved
operation was started when you return to the initial screen after reserved copying finishes.
