The access range restricts the workstations from which printing is possible by means of an ad-
dress. If you do not need to restrict printing, make the setting “0.0.0.0”.

The entry is invalid if the start address is greater than the end address.

Up to five access ranges can be specified. The entry is invalid if the target number is omitted.

When using a Web browser, telnet or SmartNetMonitor for Client/Admin, you can use an IP ad-

Access Control Initialization
msh> access flush

This restores the factory-default settings so that all access ranges become "0.0.0.0".
DHCP
Use the set command to configure the boot method.
msh> set parameter {on|off}
"on" means active and "off" means inactive.

The default is "on".

When you use DHCP, the server also needs to be configured.

DHCP takes precedence over all other settings.
