This guide explains how to update the RICOH Interactive Whiteboard Series system.

Do not turn off the main unit power while the system update is in progress.
1.
Select the system file that is created in the same folder as this guide, and then copy the file to the root
directory (the topmost directory) of a USB memory device.
The filename is "RIWB_Version.zip". For example, if the system version is 1.2.3.1, the filename will be
"RIWB_1.2.3.1.zip".

Insert the USB memory device containing the saved system file into one of the USB ports on either
side of the display.
Insert only one USB memory device.

Turn on Interactive Whiteboard.
4.
Press and hold down the Close icon with the pen nib to display the desktop.
5.
Touch [AdminSettings] two times in quick succession.
6.
Display the touch keyboard, and then enter the administrator password.
For details about how to display the touch keyboard, see “Operating Instructions”.
7.
Touch [OK].
The Administrator Settings screen appears.
8.
Touch the System Update icon.
9.
Touch [Update from USB Memory] in the [System Update] window.
This step is not necessary if the system version is 1.5.0.0 or later. Proceed to Step 10.
10.
Select the system file, and then touch [OK].
11.
Touch [OK].
Interactive Whiteboard starts updating the system. When the update is finished, Interactive Whiteboard will restart
automatically.
12.
Remove the USB memory device from the USB port.
