Shooting

Press the

button to select [IMAGE

WITH SOUND].

Press the

button to select [ON] and

press the ENTER button.

Press the MENU button.

Press the shutter release button.

About 10 seconds of sound can be recorded after
the image has been displayed. The

mark blinks

during sound recording.

Note

• The focus, exposure and white balance are locked in the state in

effect when the shutter release button was pressed.

• Sound recording starts after the image has been recorded. At this

time, check that the

symbol on the LCD monitor or LCD panel is

blinking.

• Enable the keep settings mode to save the image with sound setting.

See “Keep Settings” (p. 121).

• You can add a sound to a recorded file. See “Adding a Sound to a

File being Played Back” (p. 94).
