Press the shutter release button.
The shot image appears on the LCD monitor before
it is recorded.
Sound Recording
In this mode sound can be recorded. The recordable
time is displayed according to the available capacity in
the recording destination.

Set the mode dial to [ ].
The recordable time is displayed on the LCD panel
and on the LCD monitor.

Press the shutter release button.
Recording will start. The mark blinks during
recording and the recordable time is displayed.
To stop recording, press the shutter release button
again.
Continuous Shooting
This mode is for shooting a subject continuously while
the shutter release button is depressed. This function is
ideal for capturing special events.
Note
• You can only select and
image quality modes.
• To cancel recording, press the
button while the shot
image is displayed on the LCD
monitor. See “Shooting (Still
Picture Mode)” (p.51)
• Sound can be incorporated in
the recording. See “Still
Picture/Text Shooting with
Sound” (p.58).

Note
• The microphone is located on
the front of the camera. Adjust
the direction of the microphone
to the best position for
recording.
• Please keep the camera at
least 30 cm (11.8 inches) away
from mobile phone to prevent
interference.
