Electrical connection
The operator is obligated to connect the assembly in accordance with existing regulations 8 (IEC,
VDE, etc.).
DANGER!
Only have the electric connection performed by a qualified electrician. Compare the
available mains voltage with the information on the type plate of the motor and select a
suitable circuit.
A motor protection device (motor-circuit switch) is urgently recommended.
DANGER!
Danger of explosion if the electrical installation is incorrect.
WARNING!
In potentially explosive areas IEC 60079-14 must also be observed for the electrical
installation.
If the pump is mounted on a base plate, ensuring electrical conduction through the use of a
chopper disk or contact disk on the housing foot and support bracket. The assembly must be
grounded in accordance with currently effective regulations, for example, on the base plate.
