The pumps are designed for ambient temperatures from -20°C to +40°C.
Magnetic drive pumps
People with a pacemaker are at risk from the strong magnetic field of the magnetic
drive. It may be life-threatening for them to stay at a distance of less than 500 mm to
the pump.
External flushing
The transition pipe is supplied pre-assembled. If other feed lines have been ordered, they are sup-
plied dismantled to facilitate transport. They are then re-assembled using the drawing provided.
HINWEIS!
It is recommended to install a flow monitor in the flushing line. If the minimum flushing
flow is undershot, this sensor then triggers an alarm or the motor is shut off.
Self-priming
The following installation instructions are based on the assumption that a shut-off valve is located
downstream of the pump as a standard feature. There are various different installation configura-
tions.
2.5.2 Installation of pump/unit
The structural work must be prepared in accordance with the dimensions in the installation
drawing. Method of installation: on a grouted base plate and firm foundation
–
Align base plate on the ground foundation.

Insert foundation bolts and grout base plate.
–
Do not tighten the foundation bolts uniformly and firmly until the mortar has set.
