4.0 Capture Definitions
Users may create unique capture definitions with external triggering, or modify the autotrigger capture definitions
for automatic triggering as necessary. A programmer can change the capture definition, or define a new one, when
integrating with a client application.
Use the following steps to enter the
Capture Definitions
menu.
1. Go to the QubeVu Manager home page.
2. Select
Admin Tools
to log in.
The Administrator defined a username and password during the initial setup process. The username and
password are required to log into and access the QubeVu Manager Admin Tools.

4.1 Automatic Triggering
The iDimension 100 will dimension and capture the image(s) when it detects that an item has been placed under the
scan head and there are no impeding conditions, such as movement or unstable scale readings.
The capture definitions autotriggerflat and autotriggerparcel control the capturing process depending on the height
of the item being captured.
The definition autotriggerflat captures items with height less than the flat/parcel threshold, while autotriggerparcel
captures items with a height greater than the flat/parcel threshold.
4.2 Manual or External Triggering
The iDimension 100 will dimension and capture images when the capture method is called, it detects that an item
has been placed under the scan head and there are no impeding conditions such as movement or unstable scale
readings.
This is similar to automatic triggering with the addition of requiring the capture method to be called by the
client application.
