Adjust the engine position so that when you press hard in the middle of the drive belt it should deflect
approximately one belt thickness.
6. Belt replacement
Adjust the engine position so that the engine can be moved sufficiently allowing the drive belt to be
removed/installed over the drive pulleys. Adjust the belt tension as described in "Belt tension adjustment".
Note
: When replacing the drive belt, always use the correct belt type (see Table 1)
7. When you have the belt tensioned correctly, firmly tighten the four engine mounting bolts and refit the belt
cover.
5.8- Moving the machine
The machine is equipped with 2 wheels for minor movement, i.e. to move the machine to the work area.
For doing so, grasp the handle to tilt the machine slightly, then roll the machine slowly.
The wheels are not intended to transport or tow the machine over a long distance.
Do not tow on open road.
Does not use the machine to transport people, animals or materials/objects.
VI. MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Before any intervention on product (e.g. cleaning, inspecting or repairing),
make sure that engine has stopped and is cool.
Disconnect the spark plug to prevent accidental starting.
Reminder
: Make sure to maintain the machine in good working condition, carry out regular maintenance of the machine after
each use and before storage .Any breach or default of adequate maintenance reduces the life of the machine and increases the
risk of breakdowns and accidents.
To preserve the security system throughout the life of the machine, it is important to perform maintenance and proper cleaning,
DO NOT use non-compliant replacement parts and do NOT dismantle yourself the machine or change the security features.
6.1- After using the machine
Check the machine (feeding inlet and chute) and remove material residue.
- Sharpening the blades
After a period of use or when deemed necessary, sharpen the blades with a sharpener or grinder to remove
any dull or damaged parts along the cutting edge.
- Air filter
Dust accumulated on the air filter reduces engine efficiency, increases fuel consumption and allows abrasive
particles to pass into the engine.
Remove the air filter as often as necessary for maintenance and to maintain it in clean condition.
Dust deposited on the surface can be removed by tapping the filter.
For heavy deposits, wash the filter in a suitable solvent.
To remove the filter, remove the filter cover by turning the knob on the air filter cover.
- Spark plug
Clean the electrodes with a wire brush and if necessary reset the gap.
1. Do not attempt to remove the spark plug from a hot engine to avoid
damaging the electrodes.
2. Clean or replace a dirty spark plug with oily deposits.
3. Replace the spark plug if the center electrode is worn or rounded at the end
4. Spark plug gap to 0.6~0.7mm
- Transport
1. Switch off the engine and disconnect the spark plug before moving the product.
