Step 2  Select a HDD from the dropdown list and operate.   

When  HDD  is  working  properly,  system  is  shown  as  O.  When  HDD  error  occurred, 
system is shown as X. 

  Alarm set: Click alarm set button, the interface is shown as below. See Figure 4-101. 

(This  interface  is  just  like  the  abnormal  setup).  Please  refer  to  chapter  4.3.4.3 
Abnormal for detailed information. 

  HDD  operation:  You  can  select  a  HDD  mode  from  the  dropdown  list  such  as 

read-only or you can erase all data in the HDD. Please note system needs to reboot 
to get all the modification activated. 

  eSATA: Click to view eSATA name, total space, free space, and status.   

  Record time: It is to display record start time and end time of current HDD.
