VETRO WALL FOUNTAIN
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Choose location for fountain and make sure surface is level.
2. Pump assembly must be done before placing fountain against the wall.
3. Unpack pump, attach the suction cups to its feet (image 1), place rubber ring/gasket over the threaded adapter,
and screw it into the threaded hole at the top of pump (image 2).
4. Unscrew the Phillips-head screws from the back cover of fountain with a screwdriver (image 3) and remove
cover. Always remove the top left or center screw last and secure cover to prevent plate from falling.
5. Connect hose inside of opening to top spout and secure with provided clamp. Run hose to lower section
of fountain.
6. Connect other end of hose to the pump and secure with provided clamp (image 5).
7. Gently place pump in the basin and make sure suction cups are secured.
8. Fill basin of fountain with water to the suggested water depth mark label on the inside of the basin. It is
important to operate fountain with the suggested water amount. Water level should be monitored regularly and
water added if needed.
9. Connect the bipolar plug of pump to a 110-volt receptacle. Do not let pump run dry. The water might take a
couple of seconds to start as the pressure is adjusted.
10. Use the adjusters to level fountain if water flows out of spouts unevenly.
11. You may adjust the flow of water by using the regulator in front of the pump. Turning the wheel clockwise
reduces the water flow and counterclockwise increases it. For additional information on the pump, please
refer to the Sicce instruction manual supplied with the pump.
12. Once pump has been run and if no leaks have been detected, reinstall back cover. Do not overtighten
screws.
GENERAL FOUNTAIN TIPS
Install fountain on a level surface. You will need a properly grounded 110-volt (AC only) GFCI-protected
receptacle near the fountain for your pump. Test all pumps and adjust to full output prior to assembly. It is
not recommended that fountains be placed directly on grass or dirt.
We recommend replacing the water and cleaning the fountain at least once a year with a soft bristle
brush and water – use crude soap (without additives) or a mild detergent if needed. Ideally, this process
should be done prior to the winter months, as the water would need to be removed anyway. Use pump
to remove majority of water and gently tip fountain to remove remaining water. If too heavy to tilt,
use a cloth to absorb water.
Weather such as sun, rain, wind, pollution, freezing cold, salt water and a host of other
conditions can degrade the finish over time. In seaside locations, we recommend regular soap and
water cleaning to rinse away salt deposits. If grime and salt deposits are not removed regularly, they will
cause damage to the finish.
