4 Frequency Converter Mounting
4.1 Mounting
The equipment must be sufficiently ventilated, to avoid overheating. The rec‐
ommended minimum clearances between the frequency converter and adja‐
cent items which may disturb the free flow of air are given below.
● The frequency converter must be vertically installed.
● Frequency Converter Fv has no side ventilation hole, which
enables parallel mounting of Fv with zero distance.
● If one frequency converter is arranged above the other,
make sure that the upper limit of air temperature into the in‐
let is not exceeded (See chapter 9 "Technical Data" on
page 143 ).
● A baffle plate is recommended between the frequency con‐
verters to prevent the rising hot air being drawn into the up‐
per converter.

Risks of damage to the components! CAUTION
Only operate the components in their allowed mounting positions.
Allowed Mounting Position of the components:
Only the mounting position G1 is allowed for Fv components.
