   9120

The Coastal and Offshore Commander 2.0 liferafts are to be inspected every three (3) years to insure

that the inflatable chambers will maintain the specified pressure, that the inflation system functions

efficiently, and that all components and associated equipment are maintained in a serviceable

condition.  Coastal Cruiser 2.0 liferafts are to first be inspected after 2 years and then annually

thereafter.

Replace the light at every three year inspection.  If the liferaft needs to be serviced at any point within

the three requirement period, confirm the expiration date on the light and inspect for damage.

Replace if necessary.  Check floating knife for any cracks in plastic.  Replace if necessary.

Inspect all fabric components for:

Slits, tears, and holes

Pigment removal

Deterioration

Adhesion of seams and components

Separation of raft fabric

Condition of sewn seams

Legibility of all instructions and labels

Replace parts as necessary
