Liferafts should be handled carefully in transportation without rolling. They should be stored in a
dry and ventilated place in a warehouse or other secure location. There shall be no more than 2
layers of overlapping stacking during storage. Additionally, they should be stored in such a way
that the “This Side Up” label is always facing in the upward direction. Temperatures in the
storage warehouse should range from 5  F – 130  F (-15  C – 54  C) with a relative humidity of less
than or equal to 80%. Distance from any heat source should not be less than 1m while stacking
height should be no more than 2m. Avoid contacting acid, alkali, oils, and other substances which
can damage rubberized fabric.
