For Coastal Cruisers, follow instructions in Step 17 before proceeding to Step 19.
For Commanders, follow instructions in Step 18 before proceeding to Step 19.
17. For Cruiser’s ONLY. Working with the end of the painterline with the additional inflation valve
cord, attach the cord to the inflation cable. CAREFULLY slip cord through the inflation valve pull
cable loop and tie using a bowline knot. (See Fig. 20)

18. For Commander’s ONLY. Working with the end of the painterline with the additional inflation
valve cord, begin by securing the painterline to the loop on the vacuum bag. Tie using a bowline
knot. (See Figure 21).
19. Pass the inflation valve cord through the hole in the vacuum clip. Secure with a bowline knot.
