To set the
Crop
rectangle correctly it will usually be necessary to repeatedly
suspend the game, adjust the
Crop
rectangle and then resume the game to
make a visual check. It is therefore recommended that you enable
Screen fit
in
the
Display options
menu when performing a visual check, since it will make it
easier to see when the settings are correct.
To make this configuration a simple and often one-click process,
THEA500
Mini
also provides an
Auto crop
function.
Auto crop
This function attempts to automatically set the size of the image to minimise
the black borders shown at the top and bottom of the screen (particularly
when using the
Screen fit
display mode).
The
Auto crop
function is only available for a game that is currently
suspended. In this case an additional button
Y
for
Auto crop
will be shown at
the bottom of the
Game settings
menu.
When activated, the
Auto crop
function will analyse the image at the point it
was suspended and automatically calculate the
Crop
rectangle and position.
This is nearly always successful and only occasionally requires a slight tweak
to the settings afterwards.
