6. Start Ventilation

6.5.14 S/T

(Spontaneous/Timed Mode)

Pressure-supported breaths are triggered on a

synchronised basis.
Inspiration ends as soon as the flow has dropped to an

adjustable percentage of peak flow.
Expiration is initiated when Tinsp-max (4s) is exceeded.
The mode is only available for single-limb non-invasive

ventilation .
