1.2 • General provisions and specific measures
• Make sure the Healthbox and the control modules remain easily accessible at all times so
service and maintenance can be easily performed (without having to carry out any masonry
work).
• The Healthbox complies with the legal requirements for electrical apparatus.
• Modifications to the Healthbox are not permitted.
• The ventilator unit can only be used with the appropriate RENSON
®
accessories and control.
• Use RENSON
®
air ducts and a RENSON
®
roof gland to minimise pressure loss. This results in
a lower energy consumption and less noise from the ventilator.
• The installer must make sure the discharge opening of the ventilator unit is positioned at a
sufficient distance from the intake and discharge opening of the boiler.
• Maintenance instructions must be closely observed in order to avoid damage and/or wear.
(see section 10 “Cleaning and maintenance”)
• We recommend the conclusion of a maintenance contract so the system can be cleaned and its
proper function checked.
• It must not be possible to touch the ventilator with your hand. Air ducts must therefore always
be connected to the Healthbox before it is put into operation. The minimum duct length is
1.5 m.
• The unit cannot be opened without the use of tools.
• When the Healthbox is combined with products for compartmentalisation to reduce the risk of
fire spreading: Make sure the fire damper/butterfly valve/sleeve/... has a sufficiently large
passage to avoid pressure losses. Choice of the wrong type can result in a non-functioning
Healthbox. Ask us about the RENSON
®
fire kit.
The following specific safety measures must be observed:
• Always make sure the unit is disconnected from the mains power supply by removing the
mains plug from the plug socket or switching off the circuit breaker before starting any work.
(Measure to check if the unit is really disconnected!)
• Always wait min. 30 seconds before connecting the mains power supply again.
• Use suitable/appropriate tools for carrying out work on the Healthbox.
• Use the unit only for applications for which it has been designed, as indicated in the manual.
ATTENTION:
The ventilator unit must be in operation permanently i.e. the Healthbox must
never be switched off.
(legal obligation in accordance with NBN D50-001, section 4.2. System C)
