11.3 • Removing the (Click & Safe
®
) fabric roller barrel

• Remove the base profile
from the box.
• Push the Click & Safe
finger on the inside of the
end caps, and pull the
fabric roller barrel evenly
(from right to left) out of
the box.
• Now you can change
the fabric roller barrel or
motor.
11.4 • Replacing the thermal material and inner profile

• Replace the fabric roller barrel horizontally and evenly (from
right to left) into the box, to avoid damage.
• Push the fabric roller barrel firmly into place until you hear a
click. Click&Safe ensures that the fabric roller barrel is safely
secured.
• Replace the base profile into the box in an upward direction
and screw it firmly in place.
• Slide the rotating clips, angled upwards, and turn them in a
clockwise direction until vertical. It is easiest to work from left
to right and to switch between replacing an insulation block
and a clip in turn.
• If working on the Fixvent Mono AK/UT
EVO
, replace the insect-
proof profile in the box.
• Replace the inner profile.
With manual screen
operation:
• There are clips on both
sides of the fabric roller
barrel package, at the
height of the side chan-
nel. Unclick the clips
before removing the
fabric roller barrel.
