11 Disposal Information
11.1 Disposing of Consumables
Full dust bags and filters must be disposed of under compliance with locally applicable regulations.
Depending on the material trapped by the filters, protective gear may need to be worn during disposal.
11.2 Disposing of the Unit
The unit must be disposed of by an authorized recycling operation. The selected firm must be informed of
all possible health hazardous residues in the unit�
11.2.1 Disposal Instructions for countries in the EU
To conserve and protect the environment, prevent environmental pollution and improve the recycling of
raw materials, the European Commission adopted a directive that requires the manufacturer to accept the
return of electrical and electronic units for proper disposal or recycling�
Within the European Union, units with this symbol should not therefore be disposed of in unsort-
ed domestic waste.
