5.2
The R EN AULT N ew Ve hicle Wa r ranty do e s not apply, and R I PL a n d RENAULT a u thori s ed
dealer members are exempt from all liabilities, if:
5.2.1 The ve h icle h a s b e en dr i ven under c o nditions n o t in ac c ordance with th o se s t ated i n t h e
Owner’s Manual (example: vehicle overloaded or taking part in any type of sports competition,
etc.);
5.2.2 The defect observed is due to the Cus t omer having had the vehicle repaired or serviced in a
workshop outside the R E NAULT au t horized network and no t o b serving th e m a nufacturer’s
recommendations on the subject.
5.3 By way of c o nsideration for the par t s s u pplied by R I PL under the R E NAULT Ne w Vehicle W a rranty,
parts replaced under this warranty legally become the property of RIPL.
5.4 All o p erations, parts a n d lab o ur, c a rried o ut u nder the R ENAULT New V e hicle Warranty a re
guaranteed until the new vehicle warranty expires.
5.5 Transferring ownership of the vehicle does not alter the application conditions of the R E NAULT New
Vehicle Warranty.
6 RENAULT As s istance
6.1 Renault A s sistance: Renault Assistance is a s pecial as s istance pr o gram pr o vided by RI P L to the
Customers, who have purchased Renault vehicles.
6.2
Eligible parties:
The Customer, or the authorised driver, and all passengers accompanying this driver
(limited in number to the number of vehicle seats stated on the certificate of vehicle registration) will be
eligible for assistance under the conditions defined below.
