Operation
3.1 General operation
The REMKO Smart-Control Wi-Fi stick is an interface for enabling wireless connection between the REMKO
indoor unit and a WLAN network. With the REMKO Smart-Control app, the indoor unit can be controlled via
a mobile device. There is an LED on the Wi-Fi stick for reading the current status and a button for operating
the Wi-Fi stick.

The meanings of the LED states and the procedure for operating the button can be found in the following
tables:

Reset/restart executed
Yellow
Flashing
No WLAN SSID (network designation) and WLAN password specified,
Wi-Fi stick is in WPS mode and can receive WPS information from the
router

WLAN SSID (network name) and WLAN password are specified, but no
connection to the router can be established (check the specified WLAN
data)
Red
Flashing
WLAN SSID (network designation), WLAN password and WEB portal
data deleted (reset to factory settings)
Blue
Flashing
Connection to the WEB portal was interrupted (after 30 seconds, the
WLAN interface tries again to establish an MQTT connection to the
WEB portal)

Off
5 minutes after switching on or last operation of the push-button, the
LED switches off. The LED can be reactivated by briefly pressing the
push-button
