Care and maintenance
Regular care and observation of some basic points
will ensure trouble-free operation and a long
service life.
DANGER!
Prior to performing any work, ensure the equip-
ment is disconnected from the voltage supply
and secured to prevent accidental switch-on!
Care
n
Ensure the unit is protected against dirt, mould
and other deposits.
n
Only clean the unit using a damp cloth. Do not
use any caustic, abrasive or solvent-based
cleaning products. Do not use a jet of water.
n
Clean the fins on the unit prior to long shut-
down periods.
Maintenance
n
It is recommended that you take out a mainte-
nance contract with an annual service from an
appropriate specialist firm.
This enables you to ensure the operational reli-
ability of the plant at all times!
n
For systems which operate year-round (e.g. in
server rooms), the maintenance intervals must
be reduced accordingly.
NOTICE!
Statutory regulations require an annual leak test
for the cooling cycle dependant on the refrig-
erant quantity. Inspection and documentation of
the work performed is to be carried out by spe-
cialist technicians.
