Anti-freeze protection

In the case of heat pump systems, in which

frost-free conditions are not assured, a

drainage facility should be provided. If control

and heating circulation pump are ready for

operation, the anti-freeze protection function of

the controller works. The system must be emp-

tied when the heat pump is shut down or there

is a power failure. For heat pump systems in

which a power failure cannot be detected (e.g.

holiday home), the heating circuit must be oper-

ated with a suitable anti-freeze protection.
