DANGER
Risk of serious injury or death due to electric shock.
If live parts are touched, there is risk of life-threatening injuries.
•
Ensure that the system is voltage-free before installing the device.
•
Ensure that the system is secured and cannot be reactivated by other persons.
•
Ensure that installation work for the electric connection of the device is carried out by an electrician, and in compliance with electrical engineering
regulations.
CAUTION
Risk of burns on hot surfaces
Hot surfaces in heating systems can cause burns to the skin.
•
Wear protective gloves.
•
Please place appropriate warning signs in the vicinity of the device.

Note!
To prevent excessively quick scaling of the heating element when used in water, we recommend the following measures:
•
Clean the device regularly, if the water hardness is >7°dH.
•
Instigate appropriate measures to reduce the calcium content in the water
•
Set the controller to a temperature below 60°C.

The temperature of the medium can be continuously adjusted using the temperature selector (if fitted).
–
Determine the actual temperature of the medium for a selected setting by trial.
8.1
Cleaning the heating elements
To remove deposits between the heating elements, you must first remove the device.
•
Lower the water level in the storage tank for the heating elements to be clear for removal.
•
Carefully clean the heating elements to ensure that the pipe jackets of the heating elements are not damaged.
•
Ensure that the heating elements are not bent during cleaning.

Do not use a wire brush for cleaning.
•
Replace the device if you are unable to remove deposits without damaging the element.
8.2
Storage
Complete the following steps to store the device:
•
Ensure that the storage location for the device is dry and free of dust to avoid corrosion damage during storing.
•
Check the insulating resistance of the device before reactivating the device after storage.
