· The video light does not have dust-proof, splash-proof or water-proof specifications.
· The video light is a precision instrument. Do not drop, strike or apply a strong impact.
· Do not attach the video light to the with an intelligent accessory shoe. The accessory shoe may be damaged.
· The operating temperature of the video light is from 0C (35F) to 40C ( 104F).
· Do not block the ventilation holes. Doing so will cause the internal temperature to rise which can cause a fire or an accident and cause
the video light to malfunction.
· Do not lock at the white LED directly at close range while it is on. It may camage your eyes.
· To prevent the from dropping, do not hold the video light attached to thecamera to carry it.
· The LIGHT connector adaptor is specially made for the video light. Using it with another device may cause the device to mailfunction.
Do not placethe video light near combustible or volatile solvents, such as alcohol or benzine. Doing so may cause a fire or smoke.
· Do not allow any liquid into the video light or drop the combustible or metal bjects on the camera. Keeping using the camera after it,
doing so may cause the video light to malfunction.
· Do not use or store the camera in the following locations. Doing so may cause the camera to malfunction or deform:
- A high temperature place such as insade a closed car in summer or in strong sunshine.
- In direct sunlight or near a heater.
- Locations subject to intense vibrations
· When using the video light in low or high temperature, the battery pack life will be shorter, so the lighting time is also reduced. It should
be notes the battery capacity decreases as temperatures changing. When using the video light at the temperature of 10C (50F) or less,
we recommend operating steps for longer battery life.
- Put the battery pack in your pocket to warn it and attach the battery pack to the video light just before use.
When putting a pocket heat pad in your pocket with the battery pack, be careful not to touch the pocket heat pad to the battery pack
directly.
- Charge the battery pack at room temperature (from 10C/50F) to 30C (85F))

- The RP-VLL1850 is a video light with a high-brightness white LED as its lens light
source.
- The video light can be set to two color temperatures, 5.500K or 3.200K (when
using the supplied color conversion filter).
- The white LED has a long lifetime of about 10.000 hours along with impact-
resistant and weather-resistant qualities, and so requires almost no maintenance.
- A LIGHT connector adaptor is supplied that allows the video power by a camera
with a LIGHT connector. If you use it, you do not need the battery pack for the video
light (The LIGHT connector adaptor can only be used with compatible cameras.
For details about the LIGHT connector, see the instruction manual of the camera).

About 3 minutes before the battery runs out, the remaining battery lamp turns green and begins to slowly flash.
The available time of the battery pack varies depending on the frequency of use or operating temperature. This indicator should be used
a rough guide. We recommended that replacing the battery pack promptly.
- When the battery pack runs out, the video light will turn off and the remaining battery lamp turns green and begins to blink rapidly for
about 10 seconds.
· When a battery communication error occurs
When a battery pack other than the Lithum-ion battery pack L series is attached, a battery communication error occurs. After the
remaining battery power check, the remaining battery lamp starts to blink for about 10 seconds.
· When a LIGHT adaptor connector or battery pack other than the Lithium-ion battery pack L series (RP-NPF970/F770) is attached to
the video light, the remaining battery power is not displayed correctly.
· When using a battery pack that has been repeatedly charged and discharged and only has a short remaining lifetime, the remaining
battery power display may not show the actual remaining battery power.
· The battery pack cannot be recharged with the video light.
When the video light overheats for some reason, it will be turned off and the TEMP lamp turns red and blinks rapidly for about 60
seconds. If the operating temperature is high, use the video light at lower temperature.
Set the POWER switch of the video light to ˝OFF˝ and recharge the battery pack or replace the battery pack with a
fully charged it.
