7.4.
Email and Web Browsing
This default setup allows anyone with a RedPort-certified email account (such as XGate)
or web account (such as XWeb), with a Primary Account username and password, to use
the router, as is, to send and receive email and to browse the Internet.
Here are the basic instructions:
1.
Power the Optimizer ON.
2.
Connect to the Optimizer

network

3.
Login to the Optimizer with username: superadmin and password: webxaccess.
4.
Navigate to the Services Center on the side of the Dashboard page. Under the
“Premium Services” section in the Services Center, expand the “XGate
Local Mail
Server
” widget and click “ACTIVATE” to allow the service
s to be utilized on the
router.
5.
Turn your satellite phone ON.
6.
Connect the Optimizer to your satphone with the appropriate cable.
7.
Open XGate.
8.
Wait for a strong satellite signal.
9.
Start an email or a web browsing session.
