Basic Subscriber Link Configuration
Link Type
: Select the type of Link configuration.
Normal Link
: Link configuration is valid only for the subscriber with the network address
entered in the Subscriber MAC field.
Template
: Link configuration is valid for any subscriber connection request using the
specified template name (STID) and password (STID Password). This feature must be
enabled by the options key
(
).
The Rapid Auto-Provisioning (RAP) feature allows an RDL-3000 subscriber (SS) to
establish a wireless link with a sector controller (SC) without pre-registering the MAC
address. A RAP enabled options key must be entered on both the SC and SS. The
operator must login as administrator to install and configure this feature.
Create an STID (Subscriber Template ID) template on the sector controller and enter
the wireless link settings to be used for this subscriber. Create a Service linked to
this template to enable data exchange between the sector controller and subscriber.
