Powering Your Camcorder 

Insert the Battery

1. Make sure the CAM/OFF/VCR switch 

is in OFF.

2. Lift the OPEN lever and pull up the

battery compartment cover.

Using the Rechargeable Battery to Power Your Camcorder

3. Insert the battery into the battery

compartment aligning the reference
marks.

4. Press and hold the battery while

sliding it in the direction of the arrow.

Tabs

5. Close the battery compartment cover.

Hold the OPEN lever and align the
tabs on the cover with the tabs on the
compartment.

Remove the Battery

1. Make sure the CAM/OFF/VCR switch 

is in OFF.

2. Lift the OPEN lever and pull up the

battery compartment cover.

3. Slide the battery in the direction of the

arrow until you hear a click.  

4. Remove the battery from the

compartment

5. Close the battery compartment cover.

Hold the OPEN lever and align the
tabs on the cover with the tabs on the
compartment.

Notes:  The OPEN lever must be open for
the cover to close.

Remove the battery from the camcorder
when not in use.
