Cycle Execution
After the
START
pad has been pressed,
the door interlock will engage to prevent the
door from being opened while the cycle is
in progress.
The LED display counts down the remaining
cycle time. The cycle status indicator lights
show the current cycle step.
The operator may select a different cycle or
wash temperature by pressing the appropriate
selection pad prior to the completion of the
first fill. If the new vend price is greater than
the previous selection, the Electronic Control
will pause the fill and the display will show the
remaining vend price needed to start the
selected cycle. If the operator does not insert a
coin, reinsert the CardMate™ smart card, or
press another keypad within one minute, the
control will revert to the cycle and wash
temperature initially selected.
During the wash step, the “ADD BLEACH”
indicator light will flash, indicating the
appropriate time in the cycle to add bleach.
When the cycle is complete, the display will
show “:00” until the loading door is opened.
The machine is now ready to begin another
wash cycle.
Error Display Indications
There are two basic types of error conditions:
recoverable and nonrecoverable.
Recoverable Errors
An error is considered to be recoverable if
normal machine function can resume without
having to remove power from the machine.
Err
—When an unrecognized coin is deposited
in the coin meter, the display will show “Err,”
the alarm will sound for 5 seconds, and the
control will be locked out for 5 seconds. Any
valid coin deposits made during this time will
still be accounted for when access to the
control is restored.
E:dL
—When the computer is having difficulty
controlling the door lock mechanism, the
computer displays “E:dL.” If the door is
locked and the computer cannot unlock the
door after one minute has elapsed, the error
becomes nonrecoverable. Power to the
machine must be shut off to reset the control.
Nonrecoverable Errors
The following errors are considered to be non-
recoverable. Power to the machine must be
shut off to reset the control. Consult a qualified
technician if nonrecoverable errors occur.
E:FL
—When the computer has not received
input from the water level switch indicating
that programmed water level has not been
reached 61 minutes into the fill, the computer
shuts off the water fill valves, aborts the cycle,
and displays “E:FL.”
NEVER insert hands or objects into basket
until it has completely stopped. Doing so
could result in serious injury.
