RaySafe i3 Installation & service manual – Settings explained

CONFIGURATION TAB

Figure 19.  Real-time Hub Configuration tab.

PARAMETER

EXPLANATION

Reference dosimeter, Serial
number

Enter the serial number of the reference dosimeter for use with the system.

Radio range

Nearby

In lab

 or

Maximum range

. The default setting

In lab

 is suitable in

most environments. Use

Maximum range

with care, since it can pick up

dosimeters from other labs.

Unit

Displayed dose and dose rate unit. 1 mSv = 0.1 rem.

Language

The language displayed on the Real-time View, for example in error
messages. The configuration interface is not affected by this setting.

Decimal separator

Use point or comma as decimal separator in the system. For the data export,

Point

as decimal separator will result in comma as list separator, and

Comma

as decimal separator will result in semicolon as list separator.

Browser access

The Real-time View can be accessed from the button Real-time View on the
sign in page, or by pointing a web browser to

https://hubIP/display

Note: More than 3 simultaneous connections to the Real-time View may
impact the refresh rate.

It is possible to restrict access to up to two IP addresses, where the Video
Unit normally should be one of them. Input fields for the IP addresses are
shown when selecting

Only specified IP addresses

.

Clear history and reboot

Clear all the dose history data collected in the hub. The configurations are
not affected, but the information under the

Log

 tab is erased.

Service mode

For troubleshooting purposes, you can activate

Service mode

 for 20

minutes. Radio signal strength will be displayed for all connected dosimeters,
including the reference dosimeter and other dosimeters configured to be
hidden. Service mode will turn off automatically after 20 minutes. If you want
to turn it off manually, you can do this by rebooting the hub.
