Pivot
To begin guidance using the pivot pattern, the operator
must set two points along the circumference of the field
or the swath furthest from the irrigation hub.
Set the first, or ‘A,’ point at the start of the swath
furthest from the irrigation hub and drive along the field
circumference and set the second, or ‘B,’ point at the
end of the swath. Using these two operator defined
points and the vehicle guidance width, the field
computer calculates circular paths stepping toward the
center of the field area.
As long as the Pivot pattern is active and the original
path is available, the field computer will display the
nearest circular path regardless of previous application
history or coverage mapping. Currently, this pattern
does not require that the entire circumference of the
field is driven before beginning guidance; however, better results are achieved by driving further along the
guidance line.

and features with the Pivot pattern.
Nudge Feature
The Nudge Feature allows the operator to adjust a displayed guidance path for actual field position by
“nudging” the line to the left or right. The amount of nudge to apply to a line is user defined.
Note:
The Nudge Feature may only be used with guidance paths using user set A and B points (Straight
Line, Pivot, Fixed Contour).
To Nudge a displayed guidance path:
1.
Begin a job with an A-B guidance path (Straight Line, Fixed Contour or Pivot).
2.
Touch the Edit Nudge icon at the bottom of the screen.
