4. minCam360 Setup
4.1 Positioning of the system
System must be operated from an upright position
– the monitor can swivel 360°, but the
keyboard would be inaccessible if the system were laid on its side, as can be done with other
minCam units.
1. Position the monitor in the Pelican® Stormcase.
2. Open the lid on the case to reveal the monitor, keyboard, and remote control.
3. Tighten the wheel below the case to hold swivel position.
4.2 Turn on the system
1. Verify that the camera head is connected correctly.

Press the “On/Off” switch.
The minCam system is ready to use.
4.3 Power management
Internal power supply of 100
– 240V AC input.
Standard system includes two (2) removable 14.4V lithium ion batteries. Battery level is
indicated on each individual battery.
System can be operated with mains connections and/or battery power. When the mains supply
is connected, the batteries will charge even if the camera is not connected to the system.
Batteries are hot swappable while the system is operating.
Batteries can be charged with an optional external charging station.
4.4 Starting an Inspection
Basic inspection operation steps:
1. Place camera head into pipe
2. Set distance counter to 0 (Ctrl + F1)
3. Write text and title (if needed)
4. Start video recording.
5. Begin inspection.
