5.6 Spreading in MAN scale operating mode
In MAN scale operating mode, you can manually change the metering slider
opening during spreading.
You are working in
manual mode only:

If there is no speed signal (radar or wheel sensor not available or defective),

When spreading slug pellets or fine seeds.
MAN scale operating mode is useful for slug pellets and fine seeds because the
automatic mass flow control cannot be activated due to the low weight loss.
Precondition:

The metering sliders are open (activation with the Start/Stop key ).

On the MAN scale operating screen, the symbols for the section widths are
filled in red.

11. To change the metering slider opening, press the F2 or F3 function key.
F2 : MAN+ to increase the metering slider opening or
F3 : MAN- to reduce the metering slider opening.
NOTICE
For even spreading of the spreading material, you need to work at a constant
forward speed in manual mode.
NOTICE
In order to achieve optimum spreading results in manual mode as well, it is
recommended to take the metering slider opening and forward speed values
from the fertiliser chart.
