2. Pierce one of the perforations for the
cable gland with a suitable tool
[
Photo 11] .
3. Attach the cable gland to the broken
out position. Guide the cable with both
plugs through the cable gland.
4. Connect the power supply to the I/O
card [ Photo 12 ].
5. Carry out the setup of the WiFi ad-
apter (see 4.2 Setting up the WiFi ad-
apter).
6. Plug in the Ethernet cable to the inside
of the control panel on the CPU board
[
Photo 13 ] or on the outer Ether-
net port [ Photo 14 ].
7. Guide the cable out of the unit. Roll up
the cables outside the unit.
8. Place the WiFi adapter in a suitable
position [ Photo 08 ].

The WiFi adapter can be glued or
screwed at selected positions. We
recommend installation in the
centre on the rear of the base frame
or on the wall.
4.2 Setting up the WiFi adapter

4.2.1 Use as a WiFi client adapter

The unit is switched on.
1. Connect the Ethernet cable of the WiFi
adapter to a computer.
2. Note that the WiFi on the computer is
disabled during the configuration.
Logging in
1. Open a web browser and enter the ad-
dress
https://192.168.11.1
or another
previously set IP address. Accept the
necessary certificates.
2. Enter the username and password. By
default the username is root and the
password is
Rational [
Photo 15 ].

Press the
Login display text.
NOTICE
Change initial password to avoid
misuse
When configuring the unit for the first
time, set a new password in the
System / Administration menu.
Connect the adapter to a WiFi access
point
NOTICE
Network type for connection must be
observed
The WiFi adapter cannot be used in a
captive portal (e.g. a guest WiFi) or a
WPA2 Enterprise based WiFi network.
1. In the Network / WiFi menu, press the
Search [ Photo 16 ] display text.
