Powering on the System

At the back of the enclosure, plug the power cords to the power supplies. Plug the other end of

the power cord into the power source of the rack. Make sure the power source is fully grounded.

It is recommended you plug each of the two power cords into separate power sources on the

rack to increase availability. It is recommended that you always use a regulating uninterruptible

power supply (UPS) to protect your system. Now that all the hardware has been installed power

on your system by toggling the power switches

on each power supply to the on position.

PixelStor 5000 is equipped with a 3-wire power cable and plug for user safety. Use

only the cable provided with the system. Ensure that the electrical outlet is correctly

grounded to avoid electric shock.
