ETHERNET
Connecting the EMX to your company's network via a standard
network patch cable (Cat5e/6). This connection is necessary to
administer or access the EMX remotely.
There are two small LEDs adjacent to the port:
Green indicates a physical link and activity.
Yellow indicates communications at 10/100 BaseT speeds.
Note: Connection to this port is not required if wireless connection is
preferred, or if the EMX is a slave device in the USB-cascading
configuration. See
Cascading the EMX via USB
(on page 22).

USB-B
Cascading the EMX devices for sharing a network connection.
Establishing a USB connection between a computer and the EMX
for using the command line interface or performing the disaster
recovery. For disaster recovery instructions, contact Raritan
Technical Support.
LCD Display Panel
The LCD display panel shows the sensor reading or status, asset
management states and the device's IP or MAC address.
It consists of:
