Options
Enables you to configure the display, calibration, and auto save, for example. As shipped from the factory, the
device’s parameters have been preset and are customized for the location/application at the time of installation.
They should be checked, however, before initial use.
1. Select Menu > Options.

You can use the touchscreen and stylus or the navigation buttons and pad on the device.
Function Description
Display Options Determines how the information is displayed on the screen, when a screen saver displays, and
when files should be saved/named/described, for example.
Substances Displays and/or labels peaks for selected substances.
Report Level Sets the percentage of programmed alarm level required before a substance is identified and
reported.
Full Screen
View in S Scan Displays the substance name or code on a flashing screen in Select Scan view. The screen flashes
until the Clear button is pressed.
Display Alarm
Str. in S Scan Determines how the strength of the detected substance displays in Select Scan view.
• When this box is checked, the strength of the detected substance displays.
• When this box is not checked, only
Detected displays.
Show
Substance
Code Determines how substances display in Select Scan view.
• When this box is checked, the codes for the substances display.
• When the box is not checked, the names of the substances display.
Auto Logon as
Operator Specifies initial user level logon as Operator and does not require entering a password.
