• If you are installing the desorber, align the desorber pins with the white seal disc, and screw on the
desorber’s retaining ring and desorber cover.
• If you are installing the vapor plate, screw on the vapor plate’s retaining ring.
Check the Sample Filter
The sample filter is located in the front of the device under the filter cover. Inspect the sample filter monthly. If the
sample filter is visibly dirty, it must be replaced. For more dirty or dusty environments, you may need to replace
the sample filter more often.
1. Using a screwdriver, unscrew the four screws to remove the filter cover.

2. Rotate the right endcap counterclockwise, and pull to release it from the tube.

3. Remove the sample filter.
4. Inspect the sample filter, and do one of the following:
• If the sample filter is visibly dirty, it must be replaced. Continue with ( see Step 5 ) .
• If the sample filter is not visibly dirty, insert the sample filter back into the cylinder. Go to ( see Step 6 ) .
