Safety system
The safety system consists of the dead man handle and the travel drive rotary grip.
The travel drive and the PTO shaft drive are stopped by simultaneously releasing the dead
man handle (1) and the travel drive rotary grip (2). The engine continues to run.

Working on a slope or uneven terrain

Note
Only one safety element (dead man handle or travel drive rotary grip) must be operated to
work with the machine. The controller monitors the positions of the dead man handle and
the travel drive rotary grip.
Warning
On slopes with an inclination of more than 40% or on uneven terrain, the machine may slip
or topple over.
• Observe the ambient conditions.
• Inspect the subsoil before work.
• Select the correct tyres: Double wheels, sprocket wheels, ... .
• Correct air pressure in the tyres.
• Use the largest possible track width and axle width.
• Adapt your speed.
• Closed footwear with non-slip soles is indispensable.
• Keep people away from the danger zone.

Simple checking of the slope inclination in % with a spirit level, see illustration below.
