Side Note: Integrated Heating Function
CAUTION!
Be careful when removing the reservoir!
Check the temperature of the reservoir before removing
it from the machine. The reservoir may be hot or the
surfaces may have heated up..
CAUTION!
Risk of injury due to hot surfaces!
The hot air fans in the machine build area can heat up
during operation and cause hot surfaces on the fan
housing.
–
The hot air fans are not allowed to be touched
when hot.
CAUTION!
Beware of developing vapours and odours!
Fumes and odours can be produced when heating up
printing materials. Observe the instructions in the safety
data sheets for the printing materials.
Some printing materials, especially highly viscous materials, can be
processed faster in a heated environment. For this reason, the build
area and printing material are heated to the temperature required for
the material (up to 35°C).
Heating takes places by switching on two hot air fans in the machine
build area. The hot-air fans switch on fully automatically provided that
the print job being processed is comprised of a material approved for
heating.
In case of need, the preset temperature for the respective material can
be adjusted manually, see below.
Setting the Material Temperature
Manually
Proceed as follows if you want to set the material temperature
manually:
1.
Prerequisite: A full material reservoir has been inserted.

on the display.
5.
Then press the

button. The material is now heated
up to the temperature you entered (even if a different
temperature is preset for the material for printing). The manually
entered value is not saved. The value is reset automatically after
closing and then reopening the software.
