SECTION 7: OPTIONAL HEATER ACCESSORIES
7.1 U-Tube Confi g uration
Heaters (except BH-40) are appro v ed for optional
U-t ub e config u rations.
The U-t ub e may b e installed in either a standard
horizontal position, a 45° position or in an opposite
45° position as sho
w n on Page 7, Figure 7 through
Page 8, Figure 9 . When u sing a U-t ub e config u ration,
the follo w ing additional r u les m u st b e adhered to:
• A minim u m of 10' (3 m) on BH-60/80 and a
minim u m of 15' (4.5 m) on BH-100/115/125/140/
150/175/200 is req u ired b et w een the bu rner and
the U-t ub e.
• The correct t u r bu lator ( See Page 21, Step 6.4 )
m u st b e installed in the last standard section of
the t ub e.
• The bu rner m u st ne v er b e operated in a tilted
position.
• The heater m u st b e properly s u pported at all
locations. See Page 27, Figure 19 .
