3.3 Combined Use of Input and Output Switcher

The following basic diagram shows an application where an input and an output
switcher are used.

Since an Audio Analyzer does not only generate the most usual sinusoidal signals for
analog audio systems, but for instance also SPDIF Signals, it is possible to supply
even most different DUTs with the correct input signal by means of the Audio Analyzer
and two R&S UPZ without recabling (see above). Thus, the correct stimulus signal is
provided for different test setups or measuring instruments in order to obtain
conclusive results.

The input and the output switcher can be set to the same address.
